Location

The Tule Canyon Project is situated in Esmeralda County, Nevada, approximately 95 km south of Tonopah and 80 km northwest of Beatty. The property is easily accessible via 4WD vehicle using the county-maintained Tule Canyon Road from the nearby town of Gold Point. The project encompasses 58 federal lode claims located on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land, with no existing surface restrictions or impairments—offering a clear path for exploration and development.

Project Overview

The Tule Canyon Property is underlain by Mid-Jurassic quartz monzonite from the Sylvania Pluton. The area is intersected by steeply dipping quartz-hematite-limonite veins, occasionally carrying pyrite and grey sulphides. These veins form a network of dominant N–NE and secondary E–SE trends, outlining an east–west mineralized corridor in the southern claims area.

Around the Dark Secret Mine, wall rock shows intense clay alteration within a broad phyllic zone. Veins here and at the nearby Eastside Mine contain high-grade gold, with surface samples reaching 27.2 g/t Au. Underground grabs at Eastside returned 5.38–27.6 g/t Au, and chip sampling yielded 0.30 m @ 5.25 g/t Au. At Dark Secret, mineralization includes both high-grade veins and a broader low-grade halo, with chip samples returning 40 m @ 0.469 g/t Au, including 20 m @ 0.695 g/t Au.

To the north and northwest, steep N–NE-trending structures host mineralized veins and breccia zones with values up to 31.8 g/t Au and 4,320 g/t Ag.

Geological mapping, rock sampling, and soil surveys have outlined a ~4 km mineralized corridor. Much of the property remains under shallow cover and unexplored. Silver Range considers the project drill-ready.

History

Mining activity in the Tule Canyon area dates back to before 1848, when early Mexican placer miners first worked the region’s surface deposits. Placer operations continued intermittently into modern times, with a notable surge during the 1930s. Hard rock mining likely began near the Dark Secret Mine in the late 1800s and continued into the early 20th century.

Further north at Roosevelt Wells, silver-rich vein systems were actively mined starting around 1904, with a mill constructed by the 1920s to support ongoing operations. However, hard rock mining activity gradually declined across the district thereafter.

In the 1970s and 1980s, limited undocumented underground activity took place at the Eastside Mine, and a small-scale open-pit operation was developed on the western side of Tule Canyon. Despite its long mining history, no modern exploration or drill programs have been recorded within the immediate project area—making Tule Canyon a compelling and underexplored opportunity for future development.
